PWF Enamel Workshops

Want to learn how to Paint with Fire?  Have you started with the technique and need some hands on tips and tricks?    I would love to show you how to Paint with Fire in my upstairs studio.
After you become familiar with your workstation, comfortable with your torch and know how to work with transparent and opaque enamels, well, yes, the sky is the limit!  There are so many things you can do with the process that will personalize your work. I continue to be amazed at all that can be done with this process!  And, I am excited about that!
Come and visit me in the triad, I enjoy teaching, and would love to have you!

Please contact me to schedule or to learn more about a workshop to learn this amazing technique!  I am also teaching group workshops at the amazing Reconsidered Goods  in Greensboro , NC.  At my home studio I offer beginner and advanced  immersion enameling workshops, and basic jewelry making classes working with wire and metal. I teach the immersion torch fire enamel technique by Barbara Lewis. In group workshops and at my home studio, I enjoy teaching  the enameling process while also touching on metal, wire, and fibers. I am now offering Open Fire Workshops. Look for that information on the Workshop Tabs.

I am excited to be the first certified teacher by Barbara Lewis, visiting her fabulous studio and gallery in St. Petersburg Florida in June of 2012.  I have been enameling with this process since 2009, and I was an active participant to the Ning support site for Painting with Fire, as others were beginning to learn the process.  I enjoy working with flat and dipped pieces, and I love the advanced techniques that can be added to make even more cool stuff!   I am fascinated that immersion enameling is being pioneered with additional technique advances everyday. I tailor my workshops per individual.  Please email me with your information and I would love to get you on my schedule.  I am flexible with my times and hours.

Please email me at BlueAntiquitiesJewelry@Gmail.com
for more details on my private workshops.
I look forward to working with you and bringing your jewelry up a notch!

Beautiful iron filigree beads are a great way to learn the technique.  Barbara discovered that these beads worked with this
process and you can find them in magazines, in artisan jewelry, and for sale by artists who have learned the technique and sell them.  You will also find them at  bead shows and on various websites, such as Etsy.  I teach bead workshops at
at my home studio here in Greensboro.
